You can step through all setup dialog boxes in your project and simulate an installation of you files. The tip below explains how to do it:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> Start Visual Installer.<br \/>\n<strong>2.<\/strong> Open a current Visual Installer project or create a new one.<br \/>\n<strong>3.<\/strong> Open the <strong>File<\/strong> menu.<br \/>\n<strong>4.<\/strong> Choose <strong>Test<\/strong> on the menu.<br \/>\n<strong>5.<\/strong> In the dialog box that is opened, click on the <strong>Start simulation<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n<p>Now the simulation will start.<\/p>\n<p>The simulation will look like a real installation, but no files are copied and no folders are created. The Registry will also remain untouched.
