One document type that can be opened are Excel documents, and if you choose the menu command <strong>Open Excel File<\/strong> (see the picture below) you will get access to some special functionality that can be useful when handling Excel files. You can for example send command line parameters (switches) to Excel.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.samlogic.net\/blog\/images\/product-cd-menu-creator\/cdmc-editor-dialogbox-add-button--open-excel-file.png\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Open Excel File\"><\/p>\n<p>With the <strong>Open Excel File<\/strong> command you can open the following types of Excel files: <strong>.XLS<\/strong>, <strong>.XLSX<\/strong>, <strong>.XLTX<\/strong>, <strong>.XLSM<\/strong>, and <strong>.XLTM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.samlogic.net\/blog\/images\/product-cd-menu-creator\/cdmc-editor-select-file--filetype.png\" border=\"0\" alt=\"You can open different kind of Excel files with the button command\"><\/p>\n<p>By entering command line switches in the <strong>Parameters<\/strong> text box in CD-Menu Creator \/ USB Menu Creator, you can control how Excel files are opened in Microsoft Excel.
