By code signing your files you will protect your files against viruses and malware and avoid deterrent warning messages in Windows.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.samlogic.net\/pad\/icons\/visual_installer.gif\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\">In our setup tool <a href=\"https:\/\/www.samlogic.net\/visual-installer\/visual-installer.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Visual Installer<\/a> it is easy to check if a file in Visual Installer&#8217;s file list is code signed or not. You can check if a file is code signed by right-clicking on the file in the list with files in the <strong>File list<\/strong> tab in Visual Installer&#8217;s editor, and thereafter choosing the <strong>Show file information<\/strong> menu item in the menu that appears. The following dialog box will be shown:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.samlogic.net\/blog\/images\/product-visual-installer\/vi-dialogbox-file-information.png\" alt=\"The 'File information' window in Visual Installer\" border=\"0\" width=\"734\" height=\"553\"><\/p>\n<p>To the right of the <strong>Code signed?<\/strong> text field there will be a <strong>Yes<\/strong> if the file is code signed (has a digital certificate).
