How to create a personalized icon for your CD, DVD or USB flash drive

With SamLogic CD-Menu Creator it is possible to replace the Window’s standard icon for the CD / DVD or USB flash drive with your own personalized icon. For example, the icon can be a company logo or a product logo. The icon will, for example, be shown in Windows Explorer.

To change an icon:

Open the menu project that you want to create an icon for
On the File menu, click Create
Press the Select button to the right of the Icon text box
Browse for an icon (.ICO file)
Create a new menu
Burn a new CD / DVD or copy the files to the USB flash drive
Insert the CD / DVD or USB flash drive and open Windows Explorer

The standard icon in Windows has now been replaced with your own icon.
