PNG pictures are now supported   In CD-Menu Creator 2026 you can use PNG pictures (Portable Network Graphics) for the pictures on a menu interface. You can use PNG pictures for the background picture, the logotype picture and the menu picture. The advantage of using PNG pictures is that this picture format fully supports transparent areas in pictures. Both full transparency and partial transparency (also called translucency) are supported.     The blue and white globe in the screen shots above is a PNG picture and the screen shots shows how this PNG picture interacts with different types of backgrounds.       Logotypes PNG pictures are especially useful for logotype pictures. Thanks to the great transparancy support, the logotype is nicely combined with the background. The two screen shots below shows examples of that. A title and a PNG logotype has been added to each menu interface. The PNG logotype has been placed in the bottom right of each menu window.       Logotypes on the web are often in the PNG format. So if you already use a PNG picture for your website logotype, it can also be used on a menu interface created with CD-Menu Creator.
