HOW TO RUN A PROGRAM WITH ADMINISTRATOR
RIGHTS
Sometimes an installed program must be run with administrator
rights when it is started. This gives the program more privileges,
which sometimes is necessary to make a program function
as expected.
In Visual Installer you can set an installed program
to run with administrator privileges in an easy way. We
explain how here:

HOW TO PREVENT AN INSTALLATION
IF WRONG .NET VERSION
If you have created a .NET application that requires a specific
version of .NET Framework to be installed in the system,
you can make Visual Installer to do a test before the installation
starts. If the required version of .NET is not installed
in the system, you can make Visual Installer stop the installation
or download the missing .NET version from the Internet.

Normally a .NET assembly does not need to be registered
in Windows, but sometimes there are situations when a .NET
assembly really needs to be registered before it can be
used. In this tip we will explain when a .NET assembly must
be registered and how to do it from Visual Installer during
an installation:

USB MENU
CREATOR - AUTORUN MENUS FOR USB STICKS
 With
USB Menu Creator you can create AutoRun menu interfaces
for USB flash drives. The menus will open automatically
when the USB stick is plugged into the computer's USB port.
From a menu users can run programs, open documents, play
videos etc.

OUR AUTORUN DRIVER CAN BE DOWNLOADED
 With
our product USB AutoRun Creator you can add AutoRun
capabilities to USB flash drives. But before AutoRun can
work, our AutoRun driver must be installed in the computer.
You can distribute the AutoRun driver with your USB stick
or you can let the user download and install it from the
Internet.
In some situations using the Internet can be the preferable
way because you can email your customers in advance and
let them download and install the driver from your web site.
And thereafter, when they receive your USB stick, AutoRun
will work immediately when they plug the USB stick into
