There is now an update of SamLogic MultiMailer available. The version number is 10.6.50, and some of the news and improvements in this version are:
◼ MultiMailer can now switch to a backup server for the email bounces and statistics handling if the regular server that handles this is overloaded or down for some reason. This will mean fewer interruptions and more stable email sending.
◼ Microsoft changed the login method to Microsoft’s cloud-based email servers (including its Outlook servers) a while ago. This update of MultiMailer supports the new login method.
◼ MultiMailer’s interaction with a Google email server (e.g. Google Gmail and Google Workspace) has been improved.
◼ The maximum length of URLs in clickable web links has been increased from 256 to 512 characters. MultiMailer now supports really long URLs.
◼ MultiMailer automatically skips email addresses that have a text content that indicates that the e-mail address will not function or is not intended to be used to incoming emails/newsletters. Reduces unnecessary email bounces and improves the sender’s reputation.
◼ The dialog boxes that handle exclusion lists have been updated with more local functions, such as a selection function that can select email addresses with the same domain name.
◼ When starting a mailing: if the sender has no sender name, MultiMailer warns.
