We have now released a new version of our e-mail / newsletter tool MultiMailer. The name of the new version is SamLogic MultiMailer 2027 and some new features in the new version are:

All versions:
– Font settings (for example font sizes) can now be set with more precision.
– The Bluesky social media platform is supported.
– The max. length for web addresses in clickable links has been doubled.
– The link validation functions has been updated to handle more cases.
– The exclusion list functions have been improved and extended with new features.
– MultiMailer can show the current status of SPF, DKIM and DMARC directly in the editor.
– There is now a local right-click menu available in the HTML/newsletter editor.
– The backup function in MultiMailer can now also make backups of emails/newsletters.
– The latest version of Microsoft email server is now supported.
– Improved co-operation with a Google email server.

Professional and Enterprise:
– The current bounce rate is shown during the whole email delivery (from start to end).
– MultiMailer can now show statistics for a group of mailings instead of only per mailing.
– The statistics functions are faster than before.
– Backup servers for email delivery and statistics are now available.

There is now an update of SamLogic MultiMailer available. The version number is 10.6.50, and some of the news and improvements in this version are:

◼ MultiMailer can now switch to a backup server for the email bounces and statistics handling if the regular server that handles this is overloaded or down for some reason. This will mean fewer interruptions and more stable email sending.

◼ Microsoft changed the login method to Microsoft’s cloud-based email servers (including its Outlook servers) a while ago. This update of MultiMailer supports the new login method.

◼ MultiMailer’s interaction with a Google email server (e.g. Google Gmail and Google Workspace) has been improved.

◼ The maximum length of URLs in clickable web links has been increased from 256 to 512 characters. MultiMailer now supports really long URLs.

◼ MultiMailer automatically skips email addresses that have a text content that indicates that the e-mail address will not function or is not intended to be used to incoming emails/newsletters. Reduces unnecessary email bounces and improves the sender’s reputation.

◼ The dialog boxes that handle exclusion lists have been updated with more local functions, such as a selection function that can select email addresses with the same domain name.

◼ When starting a mailing: if the sender has no sender name, MultiMailer warns.

There is now an update of SamLogic MultiMailer 2022 available. The version number is 10.5.31, and some of the news and improvements in this version are:

– More secure encryption for data sent via clickable links.
– You can now turn off click statistics but keep open statistics.
– Improved handling of temporary soft bounces from anti-spam filter.
– Improved handling of bounces due to DMARC violations.
– Possible to export only selected data from the ‘Bounces’ tab.
– Increased support for ALT text tags.
– Easier to edit existing pictures and buttons in newsletters.
– New language supported: French.

There are three versions of MultiMailer 2014 available, as described in this blog post, and one of the versions has the name MultiMailer 2014 / Enterprise. The Enterprise version is the most feature-rich and powerful version of MultiMailer.

500,000 contacts
If you need to send e-mail newsletters to hundreds of thousands contacts at once Enterprise is the version for you. Enterprise can handle mailing lists that contains up to 500,000 contacts each. SSL communication with e-mail servers
MultiMailer / Enterprise can communicate with e-mail servers that requires an encrypted SSL connection, for examples Google’s e-mail server (Gmail’s server).

Can be installed on a server
MultiMailer / Enterprise can be installed on a server on a network and shared by many users. 1 license of MultiMailer / Enterprise can be shared by 10 users.

Supports virtual machines
A virtual machine is a software simulation (emulation) of a computer. By using a virtual machine, many instances of a particular operating system can be run on one physical computer. A virtual machine allows also different operating systems to be installed on the same physical computer. Virtual machines are typically run on servers, but can be run on clients also.

Use of virtual machines is very common today. These allow large companies to reduce the number of physical computers to save money. Many of our customers use virtual machines and we have therefore optimized MultiMailer Enterprise for use in virtual environments. We are also counting licenses in different way, so one license of MultiMailer / Enterprise can be run on 10 virtual machines at the same time (shared by 10 users at the same time).
